The Master's (Calif.) is not messing around. Undefeated. Dominating the NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 poll. All seven first-place votes? Yeah, they got them.
Seltzer's On Fire
Isaac Seltzer is torching defenses. 92 kills at a .397 clip. Averaging 5.5 points per set. If you're playing against The Master's, you better have a plan for him. And it's not just Seltzer. Matthew Hamm is running the offense with surgical precision, dishing out 222 assists over six matches. That's over 10.5 assists per set. The Mustangs have weapons everywhere. Trace Oswald, Ezra Vlad, and Andrew Karges all hitting above .300. It's a balanced attack that's just too much to handle.
Saint Xavier's Streak
While The Master's is holding the top, Saint Xavier (Ill.) isn't far behind. They're on a 10-match win streak. Matt Pennala leads them with 140 kills and 4.6 points per set. Caydann Cox and Owen Krause add depth with Cox boasting 116 kills at a .305 clip. Hayden Grange is a beast in the middle, hitting .456. The Cougars have been untouchable at home, winning 10 straight.
Park and Campbellsville Stay Hot
Park (Mo.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) round out the top with no signs of slowing down. Campbellsville's climb to No. 4 is no joke. Their winning streak is alive and kicking. Meanwhile, Park's consistency keeps them as a powerhouse.
And just like that, the race in NAIA heats up. The Master's set the bar high, and right now, no one's touching it.
