The U.S. Men's National Team just threw down the gauntlet. They've announced their 30-player roster for the 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL). And folks, this squad is no joke.
THE VETS ARE BACK
With Karch Kiraly steering the ship, the team is leaning on experience. Erik Shoji, Jeff Jendryk, and Micah Ma'a are back, fresh off their Olympic run. These guys know how to win. They've done it before, and they're not slowing down.
But let's be real — it’s the mix of old guard and new blood that's got everyone talking. Kiraly himself said, "The veterans on this roster continue to lead by example, while our younger athletes are pushing hard, bringing fresh energy and hunger."
THE YOUNG GUNS
The future is here, and it's looking bright. Gabi Garcia, Quinn Isaacson, and Mason Briggs are just a few of the names ready to make waves. These guys have seen VNL action before and are itching to show what they've got.
Then there's the fresh faces like Andrew Rowan and Camden Gianni. They're hungry, they're talented, and they have nothing to lose. You could feel it coming.
HIGH STAKES, BIG MOVES
The U.S. Men, ranked No. 3 globally, aren't just here to participate. They're gunning for gold. With previous VNL medals already in the bag — silver in '19, '22, '23, and bronze in '18 — the expectations are sky-high.
And just like that… the path to the finals is set: Rio de Janeiro in June, Hoffman Estates later that same month, and then Chiba, Japan in July. The Final Round in Ningbo, China is where it all comes to a head.
THE JOURNEY BEGINS
This isn't just about the VNL. It's a stepping stone toward the 2025 World Championships. Kiraly's got a plan, and this team? Ready to execute.
Watch out world, the U.S. Men are coming. That's big time.
