Leah Edmond and Aiko Jones are officially the queens of the court, and the MLV All-Star lineup just got a whole lot hotter. Edmond, the powerhouse from the Atlanta Vibe, just added another jewel to her crown by being named an MLV All-Star for the second straight year. Girl's got more accolades than Taylor Swift has breakup songs.
Edmond's Dominance is Unmatched
Edmond isn't just any player. She's THE player. Earlier this season, she became the first in MLV history to hit 1,000 kills. Let that sink in. A thousand. That's a number that would make even Beyoncé do a double take. With 257 kills this season, she's second in the league and a total beast on the court. "I’m honored to be selected and I think having an All-Star game has been one of the coolest experiences that this league has started," Edmond said. Damn right, Leah. We’re honored to watch you play.
Aiko Jones: The Rising Star
Then there's Aiko Jones, the first Jamaican-born player in the MLV, who’s making her All-Star debut like a wrecking ball. With 158 kills and 127 digs this season, she’s proving she's built different. "It’s an honor to be selected among such talented women," Jones said, and let's be real, she's among the elite now. Watch out, world — Aiko is here and she’s hungry.
All Eyes on Orlando
The 2026 AdventHealth MLV All-Star Match is happening on March 28 in Orlando, and it’s gonna be a showdown of epic proportions. Dan Meske and Beth Launiere, two legends of the coaching world, are leading the squads, ensuring that this match will be off the chain.
MLV Commissioner Jaime Weston said, "In Orlando, fans will see the spirit of our athletes and the fierce competitiveness that defines that this is the major leagues." Translation: Get ready for some gnarly volleyball action, folks.
Prediction: Edmond and Jones Will Steal the Show
Expect Edmond and Jones to bring the heat, and maybe a little shade, as they own the court. Orlando, you better be ready because these two are about to eat and leave no crumbs. Bet on it.
