The 2026 MLV season for the Atlanta Vibe? It's shaping up to be electric. They're starting strong, hosting the Columbus Fury on January 8th. This isn't just any opener—it's their first home kickoff, ever. And trust me, you don't want to miss this Block Party weekend.
BIG MATCHUPS AHEAD
Let's talk rivalries. The Vibe will face off against the reigning champs, the Orlando Valkyries, not once but twice—March 19th and April 4th. You know those games will be intense. And don't sleep on their January 22nd clash with the newest MLV team, the Dallas Pulse. New blood, new challenges.
Kayla Banwarth, the 2025 MLV Coach of the Year, is back to lead her squad. She's got a roster that's seven strong, including the 2025 Rookie of the Year. She said it best: “We’ve got a talented and determined group this year.” With a 19-9 record last season, including a record-breaking 13-game winning streak, the Vibe are looking to build on that success.
OLD FRIENDS, NEW FOES
Plot twist: Former Vibe players now suit up for the competition. Marlie Monserez and McKenna Vicini with the San Diego Mojo, and Morgan Hentz and Merritt Beason with the Omaha Supernovas will test their mettle against Atlanta. Mark your calendars for February 1st, April 2nd, and April 19th. These matchups? Personal.
THE HYPE IS REAL
With the MLV 2025 Draft on the horizon and a promising roster, Atlanta is primed to make noise. Whether you're a die-hard fan or new to the scene, Gas South Arena is the place to be.
And just like that, the stage is set. Expect the Vibe to bring the heat. This season? It's gonna be a wild ride.
