The countdown to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is officially on, and volleyball fans have plenty to get excited about.
Anaheim's Big Stage
Volleyball action kicks off in Anaheim, just a 43 km drive from the heart of Los Angeles. Starting on July 15, the group stage will run through July 23. Expect powerhouse teams like the USA and Brazil to dominate early on.
And just like that, the stakes get higher. Quarter-finals will take place on July 24 and 25. This is where it changed for many teams in past tournaments.
Semi-finals are the real deal, set for July 26 and 27. By then, we'll know who's handling business and who's packing their bags.
The finals? That's big time. From July 28 to 30, the medal matches will have everyone on edge.
Beach Vibes at Alamitos
Meanwhile, over at Alamitos Beach, beach volleyball will have its own showdown. Starting July 15, the qualifiers set the stage for a sandy battle. Alex and Moni Nikolov have history here, adding a local twist.
