The U.S. Men's National Team is back. And this time, they’re bringing the heat to their own backyard.

Home Turf, Big Names

Four Olympians, including Erik Shoji and Micah Ma’a, are set to rock the court in Hoffman Estates, Ill. It's their first home game since 2023, and they're not just here to play — they're here to make a statement.

Kyle Ensing and Jeff Jendryk join the Olympic crew, anchoring a roster that's as experienced as it gets. Shoji, a three-time Olympian, and 2024 Olympian Ma’a are making their 2025 debuts. Expect fireworks.

The Competition

The U.S. faces China, Canada, Poland, and Italy this week. And yeah, that U.S. vs. Poland match? It's already sold out. The fans can feel it coming.

After the first week, the U.S. sits at 2-2. Not where they want to be. But with Poland at 4-0, this is where it changes. They've got to handle business.

New Faces, Same Fire

Watch out for Jacob Pasteur and Shane Holdaway. Pasteur steps back on the VNL stage after his 2022 debut, while Holdaway's making his first appearance with the squad. These guys are no joke.

The U.S. squad is currently ranked No. 6 in the world. They’ve snagged four VNL medals since 2018. But let’s be real, they’re hungry for gold.

The Schedule

Mark your calendars:

  • June 25 vs. China
  • June 26 vs. Canada
  • June 28 vs. Poland
  • June 29 vs. Italy

Every match kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PDT. The stakes? Huge. The action? Unmissable.

And just like that, the lineup is set. The U.S. men are ready to flip the VNL script. Expect them to rise and run the show.

Prediction: They’ll make a run for the Finals. That'll do it.
