The Master's Reigns Over NAIA Rankings

The Master's University is not giving up its throne. Still sitting pretty at No. 1 in the latest NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Rating. They've got a grip on that spot, and they know it.

Big Moves

But let's talk movement. Missouri Valley and Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) are climbing like they mean it. Missouri Valley jumped eight spots. That's no small feat. Benedictine Mesa climbed four. These teams are making noise and the rest better be listening.

Stability and Surprises

While some teams are busy climbing, others are holding steady. Saint Xavier (Ill.), Mount Mercy (Iowa), Park (Mo.), and Reinhardt (Ga.) stayed put. No surprise there. They're handling business as expected.

Then there's St. Thomas (Fla.), sneaking back into the Top 15. They rejoined the ranking, proving they belong with the best.

The Method Behind the Madness

The ratings come from a panel of head coaches. Each conference and group gets a say. Points matter here. It's a numbers game. 20 points for a first-place vote, 19 for second, and so on.

William Penn (Iowa) dropped out. They're now in the 'receiving votes' category with 47 points. Ouch. But hey, Campbellsville (Ky.) is just outside the Top 15 with 63 points. Close but no cigar.

What's Next?

The Master's might be on top now, but with Missouri Valley and Benedictine Mesa on the rise, things could get interesting. Keep one eye on Campbellsville too. They're itching for a spot.

And just like that, the NAIA landscape shifts. Who will reign supreme next? Stay tuned.

That'll do it.
