The 2025 NCAA volleyball season wrapped up with a bang. Texas A&M took the court and didn't just play Kentucky—they owned them.
Aggies Make History
The scoreboard says it all: 26-24, 25-15, 25-20. A clean sweep for the Texas A&M Aggies over the Kentucky Wildcats at the T-Mobile Center.
This wasn't just a victory. It was a statement.
Knocking off three No. 1 seeds in a row? Nebraska, Pitt, and now Kentucky. That's straight up dominant.
"This is surreal," said Texas A&M coach Jamie Morrison. "We won the national championship, they are handing out T-shirts behind me, and I am still trying to take it all in."
Lednicky and Stowers Steal the Show
Logan Lednicky led the Aggies with 11 kills and eight digs, while Kyndal Stowers wasn't far behind with 10 kills and six digs. Talk about a one-two punch.
Ava Underwood and Maddie Waak were the backbone of this operation. Underwood had 10 digs, and Waak dished out 28 assists with three block assists.
Kentucky's Struggles
The Wildcats? They had no answer.
Kentucky hit just .148 for the match, with a staggering 23 hitting errors. Eva Hudson did her best with 13 kills, but it wasn't enough to overcome their mistakes.
Turning Point
And just like that, Texas A&M flipped the match. After a shaky start in set one, trailing by five, the Aggies clawed their way back.
"They are going to keep coming out until the end and we are going to finish this," Morrison declared after set two.
The Future is Bright
The Aggies have shown they can handle business on the biggest stage. With this confidence, who knows what's next?
2026? Watch out.
That'll do it.
