The FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship 2025 is set to be a showdown of epic proportions. Serbia, the reigning queens of the court, are gunning for a three-peat. But with 32 nations vying for the title, it's anyone's game.

Thailand Takes Center Stage

From August 22 to September 7, volleyball's biggest stage moves to Thailand. Four cities, including Bangkok, will host the action. Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Phuket join the capital in welcoming the world's elite.

Chiang Mai gets the ball rolling with Pool A, while Bangkok will host the thrilling final round. Expect the Indoor Stadium in the Hua Mak Sports Complex to be a cauldron of excitement come September 7.

The Path to Glory

The preliminary rounds kick off on August 22, running through August 27. The top two teams from each pool will advance. From there, it's knockout mode. The round of 16 starts on August 29. Lose, and it's curtains.

Can Serbia Keep the Crown?

Serbia has owned this championship stage lately, snagging the crown in the last two editions. But with powerhouses like the USA and Brazil in the mix, holding onto that title won't be easy. Tijana Bošković, Serbia's powerhouse opposite hitter, will need to be at her best.

And just like that... the game changes.

Players to Watch

Beyond Bošković, keep your eyes on Jordan Larson of the USA and Gabi Guimarães from Brazil. Both are known for turning matches on their heads. Larson's leadership and Gabi's explosive plays are game-changers.

The Final Verdict

This World Championship is more than a tournament. It's a battle for supremacy. Serbia's dominance will be challenged. Will they rise or fall?

That'll do it.
