The Dallas Pulse were cruising. Up 24-18 in the third set, it felt like they had the Orlando Valkyries on the ropes. And then everything changed.
ORLANDO'S BIG TURN
A block-touch challenge. That's what flipped the match. Orlando's challenge was successful, and Samantha Foster took her place at the service line. What followed was straight up dominant, a 7-0 run that left Dallas with no answers. Orlando claimed the set 25-23, swinging the momentum firmly in their favor.
From there, the Valkyries handled business, taking the fourth set 25-20. Jordan Thompson and Kelsey Robinson led the charge, racking up crucial kills and digging deep when it mattered most. This wasn't just a win; it was a statement. The Valkyries improved to 7-6, sending a clear message to the rest of the Major League Volleyball.
DALLAS NEEDS A RESET
For the Pulse, this loss stings. They drop to 8-5, and with matches against the Columbus Fury and Omaha Supernovas looming, a reset is needed. The question is, can they find the spark to bounce back? Head Coach Jamie Morrison will need to rally his squad and find that killer instinct they showed earlier in the season.
