The Omaha Supernovas just made the PVF standings a whole lot more interesting.
Omaha's Big Time Show
A straight-up dominant three-set sweep tied them with the Orlando Valkyries at 10-4. The Supernovas are on a tear, winning six of their last seven. They might trail Orlando slightly—thanks to their extra game—but make no mistake, Omaha is coming for the top.
This wasn't just a win. This was a statement.
Kayla Caffey: The Game Changer
Kayla Caffey was everywhere. Six kills on a jaw-dropping .455 hitting percentage. Add two blocks and an ace. Caffey’s smart shot selection and quick footwork made her a nightmare at the net. She’s a versatile middle blocker who does it all.
And just like that, Omaha had no answer for her efficiency.
Brooke Nuneviller: The Ultimate Threat
Then there’s Brooke Nuneviller. Eleven kills on a .308 clip. Six times over .300 in the last seven matches. Her 15 digs led the match, proving she’s not just an offensive powerhouse. Two aces, four assists—Nuneviller is indispensable.
Natalia Valentín-Anderson: The Conductor
Of course, you have Natalia Valentín-Anderson, the heart of this operation. Forty assists in the win. Her fifth time hitting that mark this season. Her sets? Pinpoint perfect. Her leadership? Unmatched.
This is where it changed.
The Road Ahead
As the Supernovas keep climbing, next up are road matches against the Indy Ignite and the Orlando Valkyries. They're set to face Sydney Hilley and Leketor Member-Meneh of the Ignite, and then square off against the Valkyries’ own Brittany Abercrombie and M’Kaela White.
Omaha’s got momentum. And from there... it was over.
That’ll do it.
