Nebraska Tops NCAA Preseason Poll. No Doubt.

The 2025 preseason volleyball coaches' poll is out, and guess what? Nebraska is sitting pretty at the top. Not shocking if you know volleyball. The Cornhuskers are back to flex their muscles.

NEBRASKA'S DOMINANCE

The Big Ten juggernaut racked up 1,490 points and snagged 40 first-place votes. They’re not just here to play; they're here to win. Five national titles, the last one in 2017, and they’re itching for more.

PENN STATE'S PRESSURE

Right on their heels? Penn State. The defending NCAA champs aren't giving up the crown easily. They pulled in 1,459 points and 21 first-place votes. Coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley knows how to rally her troops.

Last year they were unbeatable. This year, they're eyeing a repeat. But they’re not the only ones in the mix.

THE OTHER CONTENDERS
