Nebraska volleyball just proved why they're sitting pretty at No. 1. Penn State? Swept aside 3-0. Total control.
First Set, All Nebraska
Penn State started strong, grabbing the first two points and lighting up Rec Hall. But Nebraska? They flipped the script. From 0-2 to closing the set at a jaw-dropping 25-6. Hitting nearly .600, the Huskers were untouchable.
Penn State's Brief Fight
The Nittany Lions tried to claw back in the second set, but let's be real... Nebraska was in another league. Winning 25-15, the Huskers held Penn State to a dismal -.141 hitting percentage. And then everything changed.
Close It Out
By the third set, Nebraska was simply running the show. The 25-13 clincher? A formality. Bergen Reilly was the maestro, spreading the love with 26 assists, while Rebekah Allick was a force at the net with nine kills on a .615 clip.
Olivia Mauch and Andi Jackson? Defensive dynamo duo. Jackson also teamed up with Allick to dominate blocks. A sweep in Rec Hall for the Huskers. You could feel it coming.
Big Red Rolling
The win boosts Nebraska to 13-0, continuing their unbeaten streak with a sixth ranked victory. This isn't just about a single win. It's a statement. Penn State's 29-13 all-time record against Nebraska just got a little dimmer. And from there... it was over.
Watch out, NCAA. This Nebraska team is straight up dominant. Who's gonna stop them?
