344 teams. Only 64 spots.
Welcome to the madness that is the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. It’s not just a tournament; it’s a proving ground. A place where legends are made. And this year? Everyone's eyeing Kansas City.
Who's Got Next?
Come November 30, 2025, the volleyball world will have its eyes glued to the selection show. Why? Because that’s when the Division I Women's Volleyball Committee unveils the 64-team bracket. 31 automatic bids are up for grabs, while the remaining 33 spots are at-large. It’s the ultimate game of opportunity.
First Serve Showdown
Mark your calendars for December 4-6, 2025. That’s when the first and second rounds kick off. Non-predetermined campus sites will host these high-stakes matches. It's do-or-die. Win, and you advance. Lose, and you're done. You could feel it coming — the intensity, the pressure, the dreams on the line.
Regionals: Where Favorites Fall
December 11-14, 2025. The regionals. This is where giants often stumble. Teams will once again battle it out at non-predetermined sites. One rotation, one set, one spike can flip the entire match. And just like that… only the strongest will advance to the national semifinals.
Kansas City Showdown
The grand finale takes place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The national semifinals on December 18 will set the stage. By December 21, two teams will stand on the brink of glory, ready to claim the ultimate prize.
This isn't just about a trophy. It's about making history.
Can anyone stop the juggernauts? Or will a dark horse emerge to steal the spotlight? One thing's for sure, the race to Kansas City is on.
