The NCAA volleyball transfer portal just got a serious wake-up call. Morgan Gaerte is on the move. And she’s not alone.

GAERTE TAKES CENTER STAGE

Morgan Gaerte lit it up at Notre Dame, racking up a staggering 497 kills—more than any Irish player since 2008. Now, she's taking her talents to Kentucky. If you think that’s not going to shake up the SEC, think again. With 22 straight matches of double-digit kills, Gaerte is a game-changer.

DURBIN'S NEW DIGS

Raegan Durbin is another name to watch. She’s leaving Middle Tennessee State for Butler after a standout freshman year. Durbin was a pin hitter machine, notching 339 digs and 254 kills. She hit a career-high 26 kills against Delaware. Expect big things.

BEATTY STAYS PUT

While others are switching zip codes, Molly Beatty decided Central Michigan is still the place to be. This 5-foot-11 setter chalked up 204 assists in 19 matches. She’s locked in, ready to build on her career-high 24 assists game.

OTHER MOVERS AND SHAKERS

Lauren Evans is heading to Belmont after two solid seasons at Butler. She’s a defensive specialist who totaled 447 digs last season. Meanwhile, Ava Hunter makes her way to Butler from Loyola Chicago, bringing her 414 assists as backup.

Reese Dunkle redshirted at Stanford, but now the middle blocker is suiting up for Boston College. She's got something to prove, and BC fans are ready.

THE HOT TAKE

With the transfer window closing on January 5, expect more twists and turns. But one thing’s clear: these Indiana stars are flipping the script. Keep your eyes on the court.

And just like that, the landscape of college volleyball is changing.
