The Dallas PULSE didn't just win; they made a statement. Mimi Colyer was on another level, dropping 22 kills and racking up 10 digs. That's what we call running the show.
Colyer's Command Performance
From the jump, Colyer was on fire. Leading all scorers with 27 points, she turned the match into her personal highlight reel. "I think we were having a lot more fun and just enjoying it more," Colyer said. You could feel it coming.
Kaylee Cox chipped in with a double-double of her own: 14 kills and 13 digs. Add the blocking power of Layne Van Buskirk and Tristin Savage (12 kills, 5 blocks), and you've got a team that handled business.
Turning Point
The first set was tight, with Grand Rapids Rise taking it 25-22 after a late surge. But then everything changed.
In set two, tied at 4-4, a challenge swung in Dallas's favor, and the PULSE went on a 10-0 run. From there, the Rise had no answer. Dallas took the set 25-18.
