Middlebury volleyball is coming in hot this season. Molly Harrison is back, and she's ready to lead the 24th-ranked Panthers on another NCAA Tournament run. Last year, she was a force with 428 kills and a 3.82 kills per set average. That’s not just good. That’s game-changing.
Harrison's Dominance
Let's be real. Molly Harrison isn't just the best offensive option in the NESCAC; she's a powerhouse. Last season, she racked up 402 digs, proving she's not just about the attack. She's a complete player, and every opponent knows it. You could feel it coming last season, and it's back.
Meet the Supporting Cast
But Harrison isn't going it alone. Ava Tuccio is patrolling the middle with authority, coming off a season with a .273 hitting percentage and 232 kills. She's the wall with 91 total blocks. Alongside her, Gabby Pribisich is a blocking machine, leading the team with 31 solo blocks.
On the defensive end, Annabella Rando was a dig monster with 465 digs last year. She’s the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year for a reason. And don’t forget about the service line where Campbell Keller nailed 43 aces, keeping opponents on their toes.
New Blood, Same Ambition
Head coach Sarah Raunecker is entering her 31st season, and with a 518-279 record, she knows how to win. She’s excited about this year's mix of experienced leaders and fresh talent. "We have excellent experience and leadership with our senior captains," Raunecker says. You could feel the excitement.
Middlebury is eyeing a third consecutive NCAA Tournament berth. And with this squad, they’re not just looking to participate; they’re looking to dominate. You can bet Molly Harrison and the Panthers will handle business.
And from there... it was over.
