The Indy Ignite just turned the PVF Championship on its head.
INDY'S BIG STATEMENT
Facing the No. 1 seed Omaha Supernovas, Indy, the underdog No. 4 seed, delivered a stunning 3-2 upset. Set scores? 25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, and 15-13. Yeah, it was chaos.
This wasn't just a win. It was a statement. The second time in two PVF seasons that a No. 4 seed has toppled a No. 1. And for the Ignite, it was personal. They'd already taken down Omaha 3-0 back in March. Omaha started the season strong, winning the first three matchups, but Indy? They finished it stronger.
CAJIC LIGHTS UP THE COURT
Nina Cajic was on fire. She racked up a match-high 25 points, including 21 kills, 8 digs, and 4 blocks. That's what you call showing up when it counts. And she wasn't alone. Anna DeBeer added 16 kills, Lydia Martyn 14, and Azhani Tealer chipped in with 10.
Let's not forget Sydney Hilley. The former PVF Championship MVP dished out 59 assists. That's how you run the show.
