The Dallas Pulse just flipped the script on the Omaha Supernovas.
DALLAS SETS THE TONE
From the jump, Dallas was all about that service line domination. Three aces and minimal errors. That's how you start a match. A service error by Omaha? That opened the door for a decisive 5-0 run in the first set. Mimi Colyer served up two aces while Sofia Maldonado and Ashley Cox hammered down the kills. Result? A clean 25-16 win to kick things off.
OMAHA STRIKES BACK
Omaha wasn't going down easy. They found their rhythm in the second set, hitting a blistering .481. Led by Brooke Nuneviller with 14 kills and Emily Londot with 13, they kept Dallas on their toes and out of system. And just like that, Omaha evened it up with a 25-17 set win.
BACK-AND-FORTH BATTLE
Both teams traded blows like heavyweight champs in the third and fourth sets. Dallas took the third 25-21, but Omaha answered back in the fourth 25-19. You could feel it coming—this match was heading to the brink.
DALLAS CLINCHES IT
In the final set, Dallas dug deep. They came out swinging and never looked back, closing it out 15-11. Maldonado led the charge with a game-high 16 kills. Middle blocker Layne Van Buskirk was no joke either, putting up a game-high five blocks. That's how you handle business.
Straight up dominant when it mattered. Dallas evened the season series with Omaha, and this rivalry? Far from over. Get ready for more fireworks.
