The UCLA Bruins just reminded everyone why they hold that No. 1 spot. A clean 3-0 sweep over Vanguard, nothing short of dominant.
Bruins Take Control Early
From the first whistle, you could feel it. UCLA was in charge. Ethan Champlin led with a barrage of kills, making sure Vanguard felt every hit. The Bruins took the first set 25-15. Vanguard? No answer.
The Block Party
Heading into the second set, Merrick McHenry put on a clinic. Blocks on blocks. He turned the net into a wall, and Vanguard struggled to find a crack. UCLA took the second set 25-18.
