Born in Belgrade, Serbia … parents are Olivera and Darko Mateska … has one older brother, Luka … father and brother both played basketball … studied at University of Belgrade in 2024 after graduating high school … has been a consistent member of the Serbian National Team for age groups, as well as part of the senior team roster for the 2024 Volleyball Nation’s League … led Serbia’s U22 team in the summer of 2025 at European Championship qualifying, scoring 22 points in wins over both Croatia and Bulgaria … competed for Serbia at the 2024 European U20 Championships … played a significant role on the Serbian U19 team at the 2023 World Championships, scoring 115 points … played multiple years for Crvena Zvezda (“Red Star”), a club team in Belgrade, helping the club reach the semifinals of the 2025 Serbian Superleague … also played for U14 and U16 Serbian National Teams … planning to major in Statistics.
