Phil Dalhausser

Phil Dalhausser, often referred to as 'The Thin Beast,' is a towering figure in the world of beach volleyball. Born in Switzerland and raised in Florida, Dalhausser's journey to volleyball stardom began on the sands of Daytona Beach. His imposing height of 6'9" and exceptional skill set quickly set him apart in the competitive beach volleyball scene. Dalhausser's career took off when he partnered with Todd Rogers, forming one of the most formidable duos in the sport. Together, they dominated the international circuit, culminating in a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Known for his powerful serves and exceptional blocking, Dalhausser became a staple in the AVP and FIVB tours, earning numerous titles and accolades throughout his career.

After a successful career spanning over a decade, Dalhausser announced his retirement from professional beach volleyball in 2021.
