🏖 MILES PARTAIN – The Youngest Olympian in U.S. Beach History Is Just Getting Started

He’s a genius in the sand, a disruptor on the court, and a future face of U.S. beach volleyball.

Miles Partain didn’t just arrive on the world stage — he showed up with a bucket hat and a back set that made defenders break ankles.

At just 22 years old, he’s already racked up Olympic starts, AVP titles, and the respect of beach legends.
And the wildest part? He’s just getting started.

🌴 Built Different: SoCal Roots, Serbian Grit

Born December 18, 2001, in Pacific Palisades, CA, Miles Partain started slinging sand at 10 years old. By 15? He and his brother Marcus were the youngest team ever to reach an AVP main draw.

Volleyball is in his DNA — but the fire?
That’s all his.

🎓 UCLA Era: Setting the Standard

Before going full-beach, Miles was tearing it up indoors at UCLA:

  • 🏐 Setter/Opposite hybrid (because why not do both?)
  • 🏆 2022 MPSF Player of the Year
  • 🥇 First-Team All-American
  • 🎓 Degree in applied math (brain + bounce = lethal)
  • Led UCLA to a .374 hitting clip — nation’s best
  • Lloy Ball Award finalist
  • Valedictorian in high school. Yeah, you read that right.

In 2023, with the Olympic qualifiers announced, Miles made the bold call:
He left UCLA mid-season and bet on the beach.
Spoiler: it paid off.

🌍 Beach Takeover: Paris and Beyond

With Andy Benesh as his new partner, Partain went from prospect to problem:

  • 💥 5th place at the 2023 World Championships
  • 🥇 Wins in Espinho, Portugal and Brasilia, Brazil
  • 🔝 Finished top 4 in the world heading into 2024
  • 📍 Earned Team USA’s No. 1 Olympic slot

Then came Paris 2024 — and the history books:

🏅 Youngest American male ever to play Olympic beach volleyball
🥉 Finished 5th overall
🌊 Played like a vet, moved like a ninja, served like a sniper

🏆 AVP Legend in the Making

Partain’s not just a global talent — he’s a full-blown AVP monster:

  • 🏅 2019 AVP Rookie of the Year
  • 🧹 2022 AVP Awards Sweep:
    • MVP
    • Best Defensive Player
    • Best Offensive Player
    • Most Improved
  • 🏆 AVP Champ (Atlanta Open w/ Paul Lotman)
  • 🥇 Gold in Dubai with Benesh

When he’s on the court, he’s either:

  1. Making a highlight,
  2. Stealing someone’s serve receive soul,
  3. Or both — on the same rally.

🧠 The X-Factor: Brain & Flow

Miles plays with vision beyond his years.
He reads angles like a calculator.
Sets on the move. Attacks on instinct. Defends like he’s got a sixth sense.

“I learned everything from playing with Marcus. That shaped my style — fast, creative, aggressive.”

He’s not just an athlete. He’s a creator. A stylist. A problem solver in board shorts.

📸 Off the Sand

  • Spikeball addict
  • Valedictorian
  • Surfer
  • Golfer
  • Fish whisperer
  • Spikeballer (yes, again)
  • Instagram chill. Game face lethal.

🏁 Final Serve

Miles Partain isn’t the future — he’s the prototype.
He’s bold. He’s surgical. He’s building a career at the intersection of wizardry and warfare.

With Paris 2024 already under his belt and LA 2028 on the radar, he’s the face of the next-gen movement in U.S. beach volleyball.

Olympian. Setter. Sand sniper. Game changer.

Bet against him?
Only if you like watching highlight reels of yourself getting tooled.
