Texas vs. Louisville Clash
At Dickies Arena, it was a slugfest between No. 2 Texas and No. 4 Louisville. Texas took the win 3-2, proving they're no joke. Madisen Skinner ran the show with a flurry of unstoppable kills. Logan Eggleston? Straight up dominant. Louisville fought back hard, but Texas had the final word.
Pitt Pummels Kentucky
In another showcase match, No. 7 Pitt swept No. 3 Kentucky 3-0. Kentucky had no answer for Serena Gray and her powerful presence at the net. The Panthers handled business, making it look too easy.
On-Campus Action
While the Texas-Louisville duel was the highlight, on-campus matches didn't disappoint. NC State took down South Carolina 3-1. Alabama edged past Wake Forest 3-2 in a nail-biter.
The ACC-SEC Split
By the end, the ACC and SEC split the 16 matches evenly, each taking home 8 wins. A rare balance in a cross-conference showdown that leaves us hungry for more.
