Ashland-Greenwood is coming in hot. Rian Robinson and her Bluejays are gearing up for a wild ride in Nebraska's C-1 volleyball scene. With a solid 2024 season behind them, finishing 18-12, they’re aiming even higher this year.
New Blood, New Energy
Marley Glock, Averi Bridges, and the rest of the seven returning letterwinners have been grinding hard over the summer. And with new faces like Sydney Schram and Devon Smith stepping up, Robinson's squad is buzzing with excitement. "The energy in the gym has been good," Robinson mentioned. You could feel it coming.
Auburn Bulldogs: Ready to Run
Over in Auburn, Coach Kara Engles is prepping her Bulldogs for another fierce season. They wrapped up last year with a 20-13 record, and now, with nine returning letterwinners, expectations are sky-high. Emma Hyde and Emery Taylor, both All-KMAland Nebraska Honorable Mentions, are leading the charge.
Even with the setback of losing Ella Swanson to injury, the Bulldogs aren’t backing down. "Our expectations are high," Engles stated, and you know they mean business.
Conestoga Cougars: Quiet but Deadly

Elmwood-Murdock: Building Back Stronger
The Elmwood-Murdock Knights are all about growth this season. Coach Nichole Justesen is rebuilding a young squad, focusing on mindset and cohesion. After a rough 12-20 record, they're sharpening their skills and strengthening their mental game with the mantra: "Mindset Matters."
