Nebraska volleyball just locked up the Big Ten title, and they did it in style. 28-0 overall, 18-0 in the conference. And that sweep over No. 17 Indiana? Straight up dominant.
Huskers Handle Business
The Nebraska Cornhuskers faced the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday night, and it wasn't just another match. It was a statement. The Huskers took the Hoosiers down in three sets: 25-19, 25-16, 25-22. This win clinched Nebraska's 37th conference title and their sixth in the Big Ten. That's not normal.
Indiana came out swinging, even snagging early leads in the first two sets. But Nebraska? They shrugged it off. They rallied. They conquered. By the end of the night, Nebraska hit a scorching .340 with 45 kills on 94 attacks. Meanwhile, Indiana couldn't keep up, hitting just .147.
Players of the Night
Harper Murray was all over the place, racking up 11 kills on 27 attacks and adding six digs. Virginia Adriano and Andi Jackson weren't far behind, each with nine kills. Adriano was a wall at the net with a career-high six blocks. And let's not forget Rebekah Allick, who added seven kills and four blocks.
Bergen Reilly ran the show with 33 assists and a team-high nine digs. Taylor Landfair was clinical too, with five kills on 11 attacks without a single error.
What's Next?
Nebraska is heading back home for a showdown with Penn State on Black Friday. They're chasing perfection, and they just might pull it off.
This Nebraska team? They're not just winning. They're rewriting history. And from here… it looks like they're not stopping anytime soon.
