Nebraska volleyball is on a mission. 28-0, 18-0. The Huskers swept No. 17 Indiana in straight sets (25-19, 25-16, 25-22) and claimed the Big Ten title outright. This team? Unstoppable.
Nebraska's Early Test
The first set was a rollercoaster. Nebraska started sluggish, hitting -.250. Indiana took a 9-5 lead. But a kill from Harper Murray flipped the script. The Huskers went on a 4-0 run, tying it up and never looking back. Virginia Adriano made her mark with three kills and three blocks, sparking Nebraska to a 25-19 win.
All Systems Go
Set two was Nebraska in full throttle. They hit a scorching .385, while Indiana was held to zero. Teraya Sigler kicked things off with a 3-0 service run, including an ace. When Indiana threatened with a 6-0 run of their own, Nebraska answered right back. A 4-0 run put them back in control, and Taylor Landfair sealed the deal with a kill.
A Title Clinched
The third set was tight, but the Huskers pulled through, 25-22. The defense wobbled, letting Indiana hit .321. But offensively, they were rock solid with a .344 hitting clip. Murray, Adriano, and Andi Jackson combined for seven of the first 10 kills, keeping Nebraska afloat. And just like that, the Huskers clinched the Big Ten title.
This team is more than just numbers. Harper Murray led with 11 kills on .296 hitting, showing why she's a key player. With two matches left in the regular season, who's going to stop them? That'll do it.
