LOVB Pro just flipped the script on volleyball in the U.S. Jordan Larson and Carli Lloyd are leading the charge, and this league is ready to make waves.

NEW LEAGUE, BIG NAMES

The league, founded by Katlyn Gao, Peter Hirschmann, and Olympian Kevin Wong, isn't just another attempt at pro volleyball. It's a revolution. With 77 youth clubs across 28 states fueling the fire, LOVB Pro is more than ready to take the stage.

And the stars? They're massive. Fabiana Claudino and Kelsey Robinson-Cook are anchoring Atlanta. Micha Hancock and Jordan Thompson are Houston's power duo. How about Lauren Carlini in Madison? She's no joke. And then there's Jordyn Poulter and Haleigh Washington in Salt Lake City, with Jordan Larson and Justine Wong-Orantes holding it down in Omaha.

A NEW ERA

The inaugural season kicked off with a bang. LOVB Austin snatched the crown, but it’s the journey that’s game-changing. Four matches a week kept fans on their toes, and the LOVB Classic alongside the Triple Crown NIT youth invitational? Straight up phenomenal.

The teams might not have flashy nicknames, but they’ve got everything else. Each city represents a hotbed of talent and a promise of electric volleyball.

MONEY MOVES

LOVB isn't just playing the game; they're winning it. $16.75 million in Series A funding, thanks to legends like Billie Jean King and Kevin Durant, was just the start. Another $35 million came rolling in with backing from Lindsey Vonn, Jayson Tatum, and Candace Parker.

And those partnerships? Adidas as the uniform supplier and a game-changing collab with Spanx. It's clear: LOVB knows how to handle business.

WHAT'S NEXT?

With ownership changes shaking up the league, like David Blitzer and Peter Holt snapping up LOVB Austin, the stakes are even higher. And Jordan Larson leading a rebrand for LOVB Nebraska? You could feel that coming.

LOVB Pro is just getting started. With the right mix of talent, funding, and ambition, this league is here to dominate. Watch out, volleyball world.
