LOVB is back. And it's coming in hot.
LOVB Austin and LOVB Nebraska are set to kick off the second season on January 7, 2026. Last season, Austin took the championship, and they’re looking to defend their crown right out of the gate.
NEW TEAMS, SAME INTENSITY
League One Volleyball (LOVB) isn't just adding teams—it's building a dynasty. From six franchises to nine by 2027, the league isn't playing. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Minnesota are joining the mix.
But let's talk about now. Austin vs. Nebraska. The champs against a team hungry to make a statement. This isn't just any match; it's the First Serve, airing on USA Network.
STAR POWER AND BIG NAMES
LOVB isn't short on star power. We're talking Olympian Lindsey Vonn, Candace Parker, and Kevin Durant as supporters. Then there's Alexis Ohanian hyping up the upcoming Los Angeles franchise. This league isn’t just riding a wave—it's creating a tsunami.
“Get ready, LA. Your new favorite team has officially landed,” Ohanian shared.
OLYMPIC PEDIGREE ON COURT
Expect excellence. Xiangyu Gong with her gold medal pedigree is leading LOVB Madison. Ana Carolina da Silva and Anne Buijs are repping Nebraska. Combine 35 Olympic appearances, and you've got more than just experience—it's dominance.
READY FOR THE SEASON?
LOVB is serving up more than just matches. Each week, catch the Match of the Week every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network. And yes, that includes the 2026 LOVB Championship.
Get your tickets. Feel the energy. Because when Austin and Nebraska hit the court, you know it's going to be intense.
This season? It's going to be different. And from there… it was over.
