The Dallas Pulse just put on a clinic. Sweeping the Grand Rapids Rise (25-20, 27-25, 25-23) on Sunday at Comerica Center, they now hold a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. This wasn't just a win. It was a statement.
Early Sparks
The match kicked off with the Rise showing early fire. Thanks to Briggs-Romine, Grand Rapids had a 10-9 edge, but it was short-lived. Dallas responded with a critical 6-1 run, flipping the momentum and taking the first set, 25-20.
And just like that, you could feel it coming.
Pulse Takes Control
Set two was a nail-biter. Tied at 19-19, Colyer brought the heat with a crucial kill. But the Rise had no answer for the Pulse's late push. Despite a valiant effort from Van Buskirk and Sofia Maldonado Diaz, Dallas handled business, edging out a 27-25 win.
