The Chiles Timberwolves just had a season for the history books. 25-1 record. 5A state champs. Straight-up dominant.

And you know what? They're not done.

The Power Duo

With Lindsay Smith and Eva Goodson back, Chiles is bringing the heat. Smith's 190 kills and Goodson's 296 kills were no joke last year. They're out here to prove that they're still the queens of the court.

But let’s be real, it’s not all sunshine. Holly Sanders and Kate Stewart left big shoes to fill. 524 digs don't replace themselves. Yet, with the return of setter Natalie Gibson, who’s already over 2000 assists in her career, the Timberwolves have the tools to handle business.

Florida High's Threat

Chiles isn't the only team in town. Florida High is lurking. They finished second in Leon County last year with an 18-9 record. And they’re bringing back their kill leader, Hunter Cook, who smashed 360 kills on 878 attempts. Cook’s a problem for any defense.

The Rest of the Pack

Then there's Leon. They’re riding a 13-13 record into the new season but don’t sleep on them. With setter Riley Knipple dishing out 397 assists, and the likes of Londyn Hatcher and Jessica Campbell returning, they could stir things up.

The Hot Take

This isn't just a showdown. It's a battle for county supremacy. Can anyone dethrone the Timberwolves? With the firepower they’re packing, it’s going to take something special to knock them off.

For now, it’s simple. Chiles is the team to beat. And everyone else? They better bring their A-game. That'll do it.
