The Penn State Behrend Lions weren't messing around. They swept Wilson 3-0, showing exactly why they're a team to watch.
EASLY OWNED THE COURT
Daniel Easly put on a clinic. His double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs was straight up dominant. Wilson? No answer for that.
From the start, Behrend took control. By the time they hit 17-7 in the first set, it was clear: they meant business. Easly, alongside Kyle Hoffman and Tarendran Heyward, laid the foundation with a barrage of kills.
NEVER IN DOUBT
Set two? Behrend was unstoppable. They never trailed, and Easly sealed the deal at 25-19. It was a masterclass in maintaining momentum.
But the third set? That's where it got wild. Tied seven times, both teams had match point twice. Hoffman and Jake Mumpower came up clutch, each slamming down a kill to end it 28-26.
LIONS ON THE PROWL
Cameron Schleicher's 12 digs and Luke Mumpower's 24 assists kept the team functioning like a well-oiled machine. This win puts Behrend at 7-12, a record that doesn't tell the whole story.
Next up, they're heading to Hiram. Another chance to show that when they're on, they're a problem.
And just like that… Behrend's back in the conversation.
