LOVB Austin just rewrote the script in Louisville.

From Down and Out to On Top

LOVB Austin came in as the fifth seed and flipped the League One Volleyball playoffs on their head. Two words: reverse sweep. After taking down LOVB Salt Lake with a gritty five-set comeback, they did it again. This time against top-seed LOVB Atlanta. Madisen Skinner was unstoppable. 25 kills on a .364 hitting percentage? Yeah, she ran the show.

The Game Changer

Atlanta took the first two sets, 21-25 and 15-25. Then, everything changed. Austin rallied back with a 25-22, 25-10, 16-14 finish. You could feel it coming. Skinner wasn't alone. Molly McCage put on a clinic with 10 kills at a .625 clip, and Chiaka Ogbogu added 13 points. Defense? Anna Haak led with 18 digs, while libero Kotoe Inoue chipped in 15.

Setting Up for the Finals

Now, Austin's heading to the finals against LOVB Omaha. And let's be real, after making history with back-to-back five-set victories, they're on a roll. Setters Carli Lloyd and Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres dished out 50 assists, making sure everyone got in on the action. Straight up dominant.

Sunday's championship match? 3 p.m. on ESPN2. You won't want to miss it.

This win isn't just about the scoreboard. It's a statement.
