Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Chiamaka Nwokolo joins LOVB Omaha after helping lead the University of Pittsburgh to volleyball prominence and spending a couple seasons in the Pro Volleyball Federation. The 6-1 middle blocker was part of the Panthers’ first ever NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 2020 and first NCAA Final Four appearance in 2021, a feat that her teams would accomplish for three straight years before graduating. Nwokolo still holds the program’s career hitting percentage record at .392.
